I start the business of triaging my CRs. The first step is to deny old mails and employers. However, I had my first name last three months, and I'm not sure if I say that th rating agencies or not.
Reply: How it will benefit you is if you move to a new address and supply your new phone number on guy applications with your new name and never place your old address on anything or your old phone number and you will most likely create yourself a new guy file. I'm new to this, so I'm not sure what to make of what you wrote. Because most of your stuff is tracked by your social security number I don't think you could create a new file that easily.

I for one do think that is very very very likely. Not too change the subject but my opinion or theory is that name variations with address variations and different phone numbers tend to be the culprit of having two files (which I guess can be called a split file too).

Reply: I disputed off my old married name. Many years after getting divorced I changed back to maiden name so that is what was on my CRs but they did have the old name on CR and I disputed it off. So far, it hasn't returned.
Did EX delete for you the names you disputed?

Reply:When I got married I just applied for new guy in my married name and got approved and now have all variations of my married and maiden name on my reports.

Reply:I don't think it really matters….almost everything guy related is tracked by your social security number. I got married about a year ago, never made the CB's aware I changed my last name and did not apply for guy. Somehow they just knew and it is under my list of names now.
ooooooohhh….Big Brother is watching you!!!
Reply:I'd think having your new name on your reports could only help you in your guy repair journey.
But be prepared to provide the CRAs with proof of the name.
