I know OC's not bound by the FDCPA, but (the name is escaping me at the moment, sorry) of any other act. I do not recall anywhere, seeing as though representing a specific number of calls harassment.
An OC SEVEN TIMES has called my phone today, and it's only 1:30.
Is this harassment? I will send a limited C D u0026 today (I had not had problems with them, and so was not always calls before, and I am soon filing for BK, it hardly seems worth it, but Geez. I can 't take this no more ) but I wonder if this might interest some lawyer (I doubt, but you guys know better than me).
Best Answer: If you are in the UK you are starting with an incorrect premise. In your first sentence you are describing a lodger, not a tenant, and there is no such thing as 'constructive eviction'.
Lodgers have no rights whatsoever under the Housing Acts and accordingly cannot claim as you suggest. I think you may be confusing constructive dismissal in the workplace with the non existent 'constructive eviction'. I hope this helps.
Reply:Look to see if your State laws include OC's in their credit laws.
Reply: I tell my son, if you call me more than three times in an hour, its considered harassment….My mom rebutted, "And he'd counter for neglect"…
Anyway, send ou that C&D. Then see what they do. Write down the times they call and from what numbers. Then after you know they have recieved the C&D, keep a close watch and keep documentation.
I'll do that, guy. Thanks for the advice
Reply: if you owe them money, I am not aware of anything that prohibits them calling you. Then again, I don't know all the laws.
Yeah, I kinda figured that jvf. But TEN TIMES (we're up to that now) in one day? Wow. I can't wait to see how many more times they'll call between now and 9 pm. And the great part is, it's only 20 days late.

I can't take this anymore), but I was just wondering if this was something an attorney might be interested in. (I'm doubting it, but you guys know better than I do).

Reply: I would file harassment charges with the cell phone company or FCC. There has got to be a way to end this mess!

Thanks, happymom. I'll go do some reading there.
*Sigh.* Make that EIGHT times that they've called now.
