I know Ford / Mazda BK than friendly. How old do have to be a BK for Nissan? I currently have a Nissan and Toyota or Honda would like other one.

My favorite CRA Experian is showing a BK account that was discharged more than 7 years ago and will not remove it.
The original credit keeps reporting it as verified and they updated the status to 2004 instead of the discharge in 1997. I have requested 3 times to have it removed because of the 7 year rule and they just send me a status update as verified.
How do I get this off..send a letter to Original Creditor?

I've been doing a ton of reading on these boards for the past two weeks and it is all just so amazing and overwhelming lol. I've learned so much…..but I'm not sure how to apply the different approaches you can take to my particular accounts. The first thing I did was Opt out, then I started trying to get old/bad addresses and name variations deleted……so far I've had only a little luck with that but still trying.

I understand that most student loans are not dischargable unless they are not insured or guaranteed by a governmental unit.
However I would
like to know if anyone has any idea if a defaulted student loan's tradelines
would drop off the credit report if they were already paid before the BK.
