I am new to the boards here and have been reading up over the last couple of days.
My questions are –
1. When sending a letter to a CA should you send a seperate letter for each dispute or will 1 letter for all of them (5 lets say) be alright?
2. When you have a BK and IIB's which should you try and get rid of first? The BK of the IIB's?
I did try to look for these answers before posting so please forgive me if the info is already out there.

I've read the suggestion that you should Dispute IIB accounts as "not mine". How soon after BK should you do this? It's been a little over a year for me, and all my adverse ratings(10) on my reports have been from accounts that have been IIB. Four of them are student loans, and the rest are from various accounts.
On my reports, they are not showing a balance, but are showing a blank in the spot where a balance would show…
On DH-reports, NCO came straight up and start of the period 11/2006 is for a debt that was included in BK. The BK was filed in 11/2005. It is reporting a balance of $ 425 Is this a violation?
I was beginning to think I would have to interview half the BK lawyers in town, but I really liked the attorney I met with this morning. BTW, out of the several I spoke to, everyone was charging the same amount, except for one, who was about $300 lower than the others, so it was only a matter of finding one I felt comfortable with.

Someone proposed letter to the courts to obtain information about a BK. I'll try to BK have taken from my reports. Someone said that if you wrote to the court and gave the case to them up with the same information be available to the big 3 when it was not mine as a dispute.
Has anyone heard of it or any information related to this?
BK was discharged 07/04, got a pre-approval offer for this card today.
Anyone have success less than a year out post BK with this card?
I sent a PR letter to the BK court 05/01/2006 asking them if and how they send or verify info to the CRA's; it was sent CMRR and they have not responded…. Should I send a second one??
Discharged in mail today–effective 8-23-05, Thanks to many on htis board who, though unknowingly, helped me out alot–I say unknowingly because I am not an expert on BK so I do not post much. Anyways, thanks to all, living through many of your struggles have given me much wisdom thru my own!!
I have a family member who did a Pro Se BK 7. It was discharged last February but the trustee kept his tax returns that he filed with his DW who did not BK. Over a year now since it was filed and the trustee STILL WILL NOT CLOSE the case. And not a peep out of him even though he has received letters asking him to close the case.
Is there anything that can be done.

When we hit the 2 year mark do the scores increase at all?
What is the magic 2 year mark about?
