Applying for a car loan again [credit scores] [couple days]

I applied for a car loan at a CU and walk a few days, refused. I applied before I paid all my credit cards, but I think that was not enough time for them to affect my credit scores. My question is when is a good time to re-apply and how long it takes to update my credit report to them the current status.

Checked my scores in late June, about three weeks before I filed. They were…

TU – 673
Checked them just now, about three weeks after discharge (waited for dust to settle, so to speak). They are…

Wow. Talk about a wide range of fallout.
TU does show something like 17 lates, which can't be right. I'll check them out in the next few days and dispute to clean-up accordingly.

Paid always on time (before 1st-due date-) but says 31-60 [credit scores] [general description]
